I can see shades of May 2006 returning. Remember how stocks took a beater then only to turn around and leave a consolidation pattern in its wake? Will it happen again this time? More people seem to think so. Don’t bet on it. But don’t bet that it won’t happen either. The best anyone can do under these circumstances is to ignore market emotion and concentrate on continously improving your portfolio by looking for better and better companies to buy at cheaper and cheaper prices. Even during these times there are companies breaking out of higher highs, like Opus and Maybulk which should be recognised as possessing strength.
Now back to my studies….
